The Centre for Corporate Accountability can assist you with your organisation's training and briefing needs on this new legislation.

We can provide your board of directors/senior managers or other staff bespoke training, briefings and presentations on what the Corporate Manslaughter and Homicide Act will mean for your organisation (and for them as individuals) in the context of their current health and safety obligations.

The CCA is an independent charity specialising in the role of state bodies in the enforcement of health and safety law and the investigation and prosecution of work-related death and injury.

The CCA has significant expertise in corporate manslaughter - both in relation to the current law and the new legislation. In the last eight years, it has advised hundreds of families bereaved from work-related deaths on the application of the offence of manslaughter law and its investigation and prosecution, monitored manslaughter prosecution and convictions, providing legal briefings on the current law, organised conferences on corporate manslaughter, and been intimately involved in the process of legislative reform.

We have law society accreditation.

The training will be provided by David Bergman, the Executive Director of the CCA who is a recognised expert in this field.

We will provide training to you and your staff in your own offices and at a time convenient to you

The costs of training are reasonable. Please click here to find out more.

Please note that the CCA has also published guidance on the new legislation, in an easy and accessible form, please click here to find out more
